What is the Blue Mars Dollar?

The Blue Mars Dollar (BLU) is our virtual currency that can be used to purchase virtual items in Blue Mars. Users and Developers can now buy BLU using Google Checkout.

NOTE: You will need to have a Google account in order to purchase BLU.

How do I buy Blue Mars Dollars?

Users can buy BLU in the following ways:

• In the Blue Mars Client, click on the Buy BLU icon on the Menu Tray at the bottom of the window. Please see HERE for details.
• In Blue Mars Lite, click on the Buy BLU button in the Item Purchase window or the Account Settings window.
• In Blue Mars Mobile, click on the Buy BLU button in the Item Purchase window or the Account Settings window (NOTE: Purchase will be made through Apple's In-App Purchase system, not Google Checkout).

Developers can buy Developer BLU on their Developer MyPage.

What types of payment do you accept?

Purchase of BLU is processed by Google Checkout (except Blue Mars Mobile, which is processed by Apple's In-App Purchase).

How is BLU currency transferred from one user to another?

We currently support User-to-Developer currency transfer in the form of a purchase (e.g. User buys an item sold by a Developer). We also support other currency transfer options such as Developer-to-Developer and Developer-to-User.
